| After stupid comments made by a NOOB about those wads of the MRDM Series, I have downloaded the 3 ones at Doomworld Database, just to know if it was as crappy as he was pretenting, cause of the date: 1994... Woha!!! Great wads!!! I must find all the wads of this great author, Michael Rapp. 4 stars -Jive | x | | The "MRDM Series" (7 maps) by Michael S. Rapp aka Quasi, ©1997-2003. Site: http://www.quazi.com /index.htm * Email: michael.rapp@aquila. com * Q has also been involved in MM, the amazing sequel MM2, and Requiem. Q has had the honor of working with some of the most talented & well known wad designers from around the world producing some of the most popular Mega Wads ever created. -Jive | x | | This is from December 1994. It's well up to scratch for the period, still fun today, with an unusually high monster count for back then. The design is a simple and symmetrical techbase, with no obvious mistakes (for some reason it cribs a couple of rooms from E1M3). Pretty much non-stop shooting, and the gameplay and traps etc are still effective today. It would have been way hard in 1994, nowadays it's a bit monotonous. Still a minor early classic though. | x | | God damn good! 5/5 | x |
