A looong time. This level was designed on and off for a couple months. |

Hall of mirrors sometimes when looking into the central 'room'. I read somewhere that there is a limit on the number of 2S lines that can be rendered in DOOM, and I believe this is what causes the HOM. The entire central room is just a bunch of 2S lines, and if you add in the lines of some of the wings behind the central structure you'll pass the limit of 2S lines. Doesn't affect gameplay. |

Reviews:
| August 1995. By any objective standards this is a poor level, frustrating, with a mixture of irritating mazes and timing puzzles, and no coherent design theme. And indeed it is a hatefully poor level; a hub-style layout, where you fight through hubs to get e.g. green armour at the end. The exit is in one of those mazes where the walks are walk-through but not see-through. Would have been absolutely and thoroughly awful in Deathmatch. | x |
