"THEME17 for DCK" v1.3 -- DCK.TS file This file is the sprites file needed by DCK to display the things when in graphical display mode (hit 'T' when editing things). Putting this into your DCK directory (back up your original!) will save you the trouble of having to make it yourself by merging the THEME17.WAD file into your DOOM.WAD. ***** NOTES ***** If you use this file _without_ merging the wads, things will look correctly in graphical display mode, but _not_ when you right-click on an object. DCK doesn't use this file when displaying those pics, it goes straight to the main IWAD. This sucker won't work with DOOM 2. There are additional sprites needed for that game, so you'll have to build that file yourself. In fact, I won't guarantee that this will work for any DOOM 1 version other than Ultimate (but it _should_). You'll want to keep your old DCK.TS file, and switch between them (by renaming them) when you're going to change editing modes if you want the graphical display to look right. Unfortunately, this means exiting DCK, renaming the sprites files, then re-entering. There's no way around this. (I tend to stick to boxes when working with regular levels :). See the main DCKTH17.ZIP file for full instructions. Ian Merrithew - UNB Fredericton 09/27/95 - 17:30
