Reviews:
| Big level, but not very exciting. Misaligned textures, repetitive action..., but has some fun ideas. | x | | This is from March 1996. It has a relatively high monster count for such an old level, and feels like three decent 1994/95 levels back-to-back. The design is a typically random dungeon / techbase / crate maze / town / castle, as if the author knew this was going to be his only shot (although he has one other level in the archive). The randomness keeps the level interesting, like a pot-pourri. The town section is okay, not too sure about the maze afterwards. | x | | Another "epic adventure" map by L.J. Menist. Unlike his second work, this one is more chaotic and disjointed. It's not necessarily a bad thing, mind you, it just provides a different experience. For me it was very enjoyable, I saw many interesting areas, solved some puzzles, had lotsa fun and was really satisfied when I finally beat it. Cool. | x |
