Reviews:

This is hard to rate; the supposed author implies in the readme that it's not his work at all. On a technical level it's poor, with pops and clicks and lots of hiss. It dates from the era of videotape. R Lee Ermey is fun in short doses but not throughout a Doom level. The wad also has sounds from elsewhere, most of which have been poorly edited, pitch-shifted, mixed etc. The pistol and plasma sounds have been around forever and are still being used today.

At least he didn't make the sounds, so you can only half-blame him. he still takes the blame for putting shit together into a wad of more shit, though.

Misc. Author Info       : After getting bored with the default sounds,
                          it was time to find a new and more realistic
                          sound wad. After doing a major online leech
                          session, and trying out hundreds of these
                          wads, FULL METAL JACKET came along! As I
                          find new sounds that fit the way I play, I
                          just add them.
