DCC - Doom Consistency Checker (Windows 95 version) Copyright 1997 Rand Phares Installing DCC -------------- This version of DCC runs on Win95 only. It definitely doesn't run on Win3.1, and it hasn't been tested on NT. Place DCC.HLP in the C:\windows\help directory. Place DCCW.EXE in your DOOM2 directory (or some other convenient location). Running DCC ----------- Start DCCW and select the 'Help' Menu option. Browse through the material to get a feel for what the program does. Basically, you'll be doing the following: 1. Defining the IWAD file (DOOM2.WAD) and any custom graphics PWAD file. (GRAPHICS screen) 2. Reading the graphics from that file. (GRAPHICS screen) 3. Defining the PWAD file for your map(s). (MAPS screen) 4. Analyzing the maps. (MAPS screen) 5. Reading the results. (RESULTS screen) 6. Changing your view of the results using the available filters. (FILTERS screen) 7. Cheering loudly!
