** DMX DOOM WAD file extractor v1.0 beta by Morgoth ** ** Extracts ALL Doom 2: Hell on Earth SOUND FX ** DMX is a very basic DOOM WAD file entry extractor for all DOOM and DOOM 2 .WAD files. It will dump the datablock belonging to an entry in a WAD file to an outputfile. Sound Effect entries can be extracted to .WAV format (with an option for 'reverse play'). Made on special request for a DMAUD type program that could extract ALL sound effects of DOOM 2 (in particulair). At the moment, DMAUD only supports DOOM 1 and the first 61 sounds of DOOM 2. DOOM 2 has over 100 sound effects... To extract the sounds above the first 61, DMX was made. DMX is a simplified version of DMAUD, but is not limited to a specific version of DOOM. DMX is more universal. It can work with DOOM 1, DOOM 2 and PWADS for both games. DMX will extract ANY entry, not just sound fx.
