| I'm the same guy as ^^, just from a different IP (work versus home). Anyways I'm sorry I misstated the author. Something from /newstuff made me think RL and Perseus were the same, but clearly by looking at different text files they are not; they just both happen to be uploading lots of old wads. However, my statement regarding quality control should apply to both (and for that matter, all) uploaders of old material. | x | |

| RL's uploads really range from just fine to garbage - he really needs to learn that old maps should be uploaded only if they are quality. Some of Keven Eudy's maps - like intersect and thehall - as well as the contest-winning map tmp.wad - are examples of maps that it was perfectly welcome to add to the archive. However, garbage like this or many other of his additions should simply remain missing. It is an archive, but there's no reason to add maps that were horrid both now and then. | x | |
