Conveyor belts, water, ice and sludge, translucency, multiple HUDs, completely configurable. GPL'ed, no longer updated. Modified level editors are available for use with it. Doom Legacy v1.30 896 KB Boris Pereira and Fabrice Denis. DOS version of this Doom port with high resolutions, Glide/OpenGL support, mlook with up-and-down shooting, jumping, translucency, key bindings, 32-player TCP/IP multiplayer with player-selected names and colors, skins, true-height sprites and the ability to load outside WADs while running. Supports TeamTNT's Boom port. Currently under development. Win32 and Linux version available as well. Older source available here (1,1 MB) or on SourceForge. Original Heretic & Hexen Source Code 829 KB Raven Software Original source code of Heretic and Hexen as released by Raven Software. Not supported. Comes without DMX sound library. Coded in Watcom C. Source of the ACC script compiler can be found here (113 Kb).
HexenDos v0.1 296 KB Sheldon Clarke Direct port of the Hexen source for DOS. No sound. Being used as stepping stone for Hexen32.

Marine's Best Friend (binaries) 1627 KB Lee Killough Based on TeamTNT's Boom engine, this port has lots of new features, bugfixes and enhancements among which are high resolutions, enhanced monster AI, scrolling / animated skies, friendly demons, different explosion radii and last but not least "beta emulation" which emulates the pre-release DOOM version behaviour such as the old BFG. Smack My Marine Up v3.21 936 KB Simon Howard This port, formerly known as sF-Doom, combines the editing features of Boom and MBF plus some form of scripting based on commands attached to linedefs, a console, support for VESA screen modes and better network / serial games. Has chasecam. Documentation and example wad included. Considered "beta" version. Future development uncertain.

Vavoom v1.11 980 KB Janis Legzdios DOS version of this Heretic, Hexen and Doom source port. At our Windows section you can also find more demo levels and MD2 files, as well as a Windows version.
