Doom Legacy v1.30 752 KB Boris Pereira and Fabrice Denis. Linux (glibc) version of this Doom port with high resolutions, Glide/OpenGL support, mlook with up-and-down shooting, jumping, translucency, key bindings, 32-player TCP/IP multiplayer with player-selected names and colors, skins, true-height sprites and the ability to load outside WADs while running. Supports TeamTNT's Boom port. DOS and Win32 version available as well. Source available here (1,1 MB) or on SourceForge. Home Page here, editing specs/resources here (219 Kb). Owners of 3Dfx Voodoo3 or Banshee cards have to download this patch (316 Kb) to fix problems running in hardware mode. Alternatively, you can download the v1.32 beta1 instead.

glHeretic for Linux v1.1 Source 564 KB Andre Werthmann Linux port of Michael Ryssen's Win32 glHeretic port. Precompiled binaries (RPM/SRPM) can be found on its home page.
Linux Hexen v0.6.0 Source 529 KB Karl Robillard An OpenGL Linux port of Hexen, source only. Text file here. You'll need to compile yourself, or get the pre-compiled binaries at its home page.
Linux Heretic v1.03 Source 405 KB Andre Werthmann Source code of Werthmann's Linux Heretic ports. Almost everything working (including sound / music / network / Alpha-cpu support, multiple resolutions and SDL. Slew of pre-compiled binaries is available at his home page.
LxDoom 1.4.4 Source 1016 KB Colin Phipps A GPL'ed Linux port of TeamTNT's Boom and Lee Killough's MBF source mod. Thousands and thousands of new linedefs. No limits on anything. Conveyor belts, water, ice and sludge, translucency, multiple HUDs, completely configurable. Modified level editors are available for use with it. PrBoom 2.2.0 rpm 354 KB Florian Schulze Linux rpm version. This port started out as the official GPL Win32 port of TeamTNT's Boom, and has since merged with LxDoom and LsdlDoom. Compatible with Boom v2.02 features and "most" of MBF, plus high resolutions, IP internet play and OpenGL rendering. Windows binaries also available. Home page here.
PrBoom 2.2.0 source 979 KB Florian Schulze Linux source of this port started out as the official GPL Win32 port of TeamTNT's Boom, and has since merged with LxDoom and LsdlDoom. Home page here. Also available in zip format.

Also available is the progs source (752 Kb). XDoom Source (23-07-00) 981 KB Udo Munk Unix GPL'ed Doom port with translucency, CD sound, lasers / forcefields and much more. You'll need to compile the source yourself. Text file here. You can also download some tools (1552 KB) for it, but read this text file first.

ZDoom for Linux v1.22 638 KB Randy Heit Fully compatible Linux version of he original Win32 source port ZDoom. Requires Hermes. High resolutions, translucency, up/down looking, a console, true key bindings, TCP internet play, completely compatible with TeamTNT's Boom source port, a particle system and has ACS, hubs and polyobjects from Hexen. Cajun Bot v0.97 included.
