I'd like to dedicate this update to a friend who died of cancer in September of this year, Rich J. Sham.
I think many of us knew him through DOOM and his friendly, modest emails.  Rich was one of the few active players who recorded demos in the very early days of DOOM.
I didn't know him well, but I got the impression that he is the type of person for whom you hope there is an afterlife. 
For me, I will remember him as I have always known him, as a friend and a fellow, good-hearted marine.  Thanks, Rich for enhancing my life.

No excuses, but as some of you know, my wife went crazy last year. (as in a mental health hospital for months as a bipolar schizophrenic.)
She is still deeply troubled and far from normal.  Needless to say, my life is completely upside-down.
Day to day things are difficult and trying... she fluctuates from waking me up to threaten my life to being so physically fragile and mentally troubled that I'm not sure she'll live another day.

In short, I know it's been forever, but an update will be eventually coming...
