Opulent, Thanks for your effort. You’ve done a nice job. Here some (hopefully) helpful tips. >”Map02 -- Have to backtrack the whole map for the RL secret. Only 80% secrets registered, but I did get all 5. “ Actually you only got 4. You missed the secret chainsaw. It’s in the room with the lowering and raising wood-metal things. When the crusher next to the left wall (marked with an armor helmet) is up, you can walk under it through the left wall, into a small space with the chainsaw. >”Map03 -- A map that plays out very differently each time. Only 57% secrets(I tried to get that worthless berzerk secret, but it is not worth hassling over :)” When you walk up the blue stairs the walls are made of wooden planks. In a little part of the right wall the planks are horizontal. This is a switch to reveal the beserk pack. You have to be quick though. Also, when you enter the bar, a piece of the left wall has a different texture. Behind it is another secret. >”... because the 2 soulsphere-chaingunner secrets are triggered by a W1 instead of a S1 linedef so they are unreachable???” Simply walk over the wire (the green spot on the sidewalk near the corpse). This lowers the crates at the end of the street. >”Map08 -- Whew, something around here stinks! oh, it's this demo. =P Only 75% secrets =( There is a long(but safe) way to take down the Spidermastermind, but us marines are busy people. :)” The mastermind fight was pretty cool. Also the “trying-to-get-though-the-blue-bars-scene” was hilarious. Anyhow, you didn’t get the chainguns from the chaingunners in the room with the yellow key. In the north-east corner of the blakwal-room there’s a niche with a stimpack. The texture of the left wall has a different y-offset than the rest. You can walk though this wall to pick up the chainguns. >”Map09 -- fun map, some of the doors become a bit annoying, but that is immaterial for playtesting. I don't have the foggiest clue how to get the 2 outside secrets. I think it has something to do with the linedefs without sector tags....” You can only get in one of the 2 outside-area’s. The other is pure decoration and holds no items. Facing the yellow door is a shaft. At the left of this shaft (in the corner) there is a little piece of wall that has a different grey texture than the rest of the room. This acts as a switch to lower the floor of the window next to it. Now you can walk outside. >”Map10 -- I forgot to get the last secret by the shotgun guy at the red door. too little too late anyway. The top of that switch is a secret, so that is what I am doing when I look unfocused. :)” The demo messes up just before you want to enter the green slime room (just after you switch form the chainsaw to the chaingun). Maybe it’s just me; weird. >”Grabbing the blue key early doesn't get you much... would save a minute or two though if you were going to play the level backwards.” Damn it! You’re not suppose to be able to pick up the blue key so fast. Anyway thanks again for making the demos. It was pretty cool watching them. It’s always nice to see some-one liked my work.
