Neo-Doom
is a brand new Episode I replacement for the Ultimate Doom. A previous
incarnation of Neo-Doom was started by TriggerAuto about a year ago,
but never released. From this previous version, a new version of Neo-Doom
has grown and expanded into the Neo-Doom that we're working on now.
Screenshots and other information will be posted on this page and
updates to Neo-Doom will be on the main page. The goal of Neo-Doom
is to bring the classic Doom feeling to a new generation of Doomers.
Our first priority is to finish the level sets for Ultimate Doom and
to continually add to a series for Doom II. Our lesser priority is
to port some of these levels to a newer engine so that new gamers
can relive the Doom experience.
Here
are some screens of the Neo-Doom: E1 levels. All shots are taken
in either Boom or ZDoom.
Here
are some screenshots of one of the Neo-Doom levels that have been
converted to Half-Life. Most of these shots are from the conversion
in its unfinished state. The textures are prolly all wrong...
