I was just browsing through my midi collection and I found this:

http://www.realsimpsons.com/ENDGAME.MID (make sure the filename is in caps, sorry)

Since there aren't any more map slots for me, I wanted to do my part and I thought that this midi might serve as an excellent intermission tune. I believe it's from Descent, but I'm sure no one would care especially considering Alien Vendetta used the intermission music from Descent as their title screen music.

That midi is quite the awesome I must say. :D The seem of it just feels perfect for an intermission tune, like onions on a hotdog, it goes so well. :D

It works now, you probably hit the server at a bad time.
If it helps any, just rightclick and click "Save As..."

While we're on the subject of music: does Boom support midi files directly, or do they have to be converted to mus?

(this isn't for the intermission, it's for my map but I thought I'd ask here anyway)

You could convert it to .mus easily anyhow, so what's the problem?

Also, can we confirm if this will be used? I've been meaning to delete the file off my host, but I keep remembering about you guys.

Not so easily if the .mid is over a certain size.

It converts, I've already tried it.
Besides, I've never come into contact with a midi I couldn't convert.

What is the limiting factor in converting midi files with MID2MUS anyhow?
Play length? Filesize? Number of Channels? Number of Instruments?

I think its file size. But I could be wrong. but that is what I have noticed when i have tried to convert midis. If its over a certin size It won't convert.
