I've not started it yet, but I'm just about finished with the 5th zone of SSD and want to do the 6th one before I start the CC2 map (which will also be a testing ground for various city/building styles etc. for the 7th zone).

In short, 2 or 3 weeks before I get going.

I haven't started mine yet, been working on other maps. I hope it's ok with everyone: my map, even though it's map03, will be tough, but not Hell Revealed tough, and it will be tech/hellish. I've got some good ideas for it though, heh.

I've gotten one room done. Yay! I've been having a hard time lately working on it, but that's just because of silly little things like homework and school. I will *******ely have it done in time for the initial proposed deadline, though.

In terms of length I havent gotten very far. But I have completed what is probably the most difficult portion to construct. Things should progress smoothly from this point (more or less).

I got the main room done a little while back, and some other corridors around it and such. Still a long way from complete but I pretty much know what I want to do with it.

To be honest I haven't really spent all that much time doom editing since New Years. And I want to get a few more levels of this done before really cracking on with my CChest map. But there's plenty of time to get all that done. At the moment my CChest map lies at 1132 vertices/1285 linedefs/2181 sidedefs/137 sectors (and that's seems more than I thought it would be).

Tough break Ultimate, hope you didn't lose anything. I will be starting on my map when I have these two levels I'm working on for my megawad finished, might be in a month or two. The cc2 map is all done and in me noggin', just have to get it in the editor now.

Luckily it happened at the right time - between SSD maps, with no work done on upgrading the new monsters and no work done on the CC2 map yet. Looks like the hard drive is ok (a screw came off the video card and hit the motherboard), and hopefully it won't take as long as I first thought.

Oh well, plenty of time to draw the CC2 map out then...

You can go ahead and start your half, I can always do the second half if need be. I'm really backed up both in real life and in terms of mapping. I'm going through a stretch of school right now where I have six days off (not including weekends) in five months. The worst is right now, as I don't have a break from school until March 23. I also have some previous maps that I'm doing for other peple (this means you Torn, my map is coming along quite nicely whenever I have the time to work on it. Let me know of any hard deadline that you set).

I'll definitely have my portion of the map done by the October deadline, but in the meantime Hyena can start mapping.

Not as far progressed as it might be had I not taken ill unexpectedly ~_~;

I have a few rooms slapped down, but not fully aligned/detailed yet. There's a lot left to build. I plan to make a pretty big level but if time starts running out I might cut the size a bit to get it finished.

Now that I'm feeling better, I'll hopefully get back to work on it soon.

For those curious, the theme is an industrial station with heavy satanic/hellish influences. Along the lines of Shores of Hell but not quite in the style of those levels.

I started my map as soon as this project was announced but I've only gotten a couple well detailed rooms finished. Now I'm wondering if I should change the theme or not. Meh It's only 5% done (map21) ....

Probably because Cadman is never around to confirm, but it's generally accepted that the first poster to want the slot gets it. I updated the map list ages ago, and no-one has complained or anything, so it's yours.
