Kid Airbag Not really a kid. Not really an airbag. WHAT THE HELL IS IT?!? Who's asking? Are you French? Posts: 7619 Registered: 12-00 If at all possible, is there a chance I could take a quick look at maps 1, 2, and 3 so that I know approximately how much ammo a player should have coming into my map (map 4), what enemies and weapons have been introduced, etc. I want to make my map as continuous as possible from the first three maps, without having there be a sudden jump in difficulty or guns or *******. Cadman I'm not supposed to be here...no really Posts: 431 Registered: 07-02 My suggestion is to balance the map for the appropiate play of your map. My normal way of thinking is that the earlier levels of any given megawad are fairly easy and continue to get harder as you progress through the maps, enemy and weapons, ammo, health etc. are added according to the gameplay and monsters at hand. Of course, you could get real technical and utilize damage per enemy and balance the ammo and stuff accordingly. You may not get a response to your request on this one and you may want to go ahead and layout your map accordingly.
