Although they do look very similar, those 2 pictures that Spork Posted are different from the first two. You can tell because the first one had a door and these dont.

Any way, I have some new screen shots. My site is also updated a little bit.

There's nothing wrong with a rigid theme, provided there are areas with some variation. My map is similar in that respect, it has a continuous theme that slowly changes.


On an separate note, are we bothering with an IRC channel? It would be ideal for preventing too much clutter in the forums.

I like Wolfenstein, and Hitler Intriques me. However that area of the map is not a required one. It is a secret area, and not part of the main plot.

Also the battle with him wont be like old times, trust me. I gave him some new features, one of which is the fact that, as you can see in the picture, he fires a BFG Shot.

Lol, this is quite interesting. The BFG Shot doesnt come from his right shoulder, its the fact that after he shot the BFG, i shot him with the super shotgun, knocking him a bit away, and then took the picture.

Secondly, as a told Bastet Furry earlier about the Arch-Viles, there is of coarse a place to hide. Remember your just seeing part of the picture. If i were to do a 180, then you would see Pillers-a-plenty for your hiding pleasure

And thanks for the commit about the pillers, they were actually inspired by a level in Scythe. I believe it was level 26.

I was about to say, that looked like something from Scythe.

My inspiriation comes from Dimensions of Time MAP03 and the lava areas in Alien Vendetta MAP20 and Alien Vendetta Map11.

Well, DoT Map03 is a cathedral, which is what the first part of my map is. You eventually reach a volcano, which is why I have inspiration from those two AV levels, Nemesis and Misri Halek.

Those two single maps rank in my top-20.

I took a few hours to see if I was still capable of editing maps after taking a few months off. The results are un-original, but it is just a rough base for the end result. I have yet to decide what the final version will include..
