Well, there was a new thread created where ling tried to fid out how many people were stillactive in this project. He then decided there were notenough people and apparently cancelled cc3. However, people are still releasing the maps they ahd originally made for cc3 as independent maps.

Either way, it looks dead to me. Which I predicted to myself at the start of it, which is one reason why I didn't participate. (the main reasons were because of ridiculous rules based on personal preferences and because all my ideas and attempts to get it started up with the resources etc. were ignored or thrown back at me with contempt)

Yea..Its a shame that its dead. I would have delivered my map as promised like I did in the other two CC projects. And I still would if CC 3 ever gets revised. I still think its a good idea and would like to see it contiuned.

Just wondering if CC3 will go over the 32 map limit for Zdoom. I believe that would be hot. Since everyone here at Doomworld makes kick ass maps.

That would depend on how many people submit finished maps. With the level of activity err... complete silence... in this forum, we'll be lucky to reach 32 maps at all.

I would say mine is about 45% complete. Its on the back burner for the moment. But I do hope to complete it for this project or a single release.

Well, just because Ling started it, doesn't mean he has to finish it. It wouldn't be too hard for someone else to take up the task of heading the project. I would do so myself, but I don't have the communication skills to do so.

Maybe a new thread should be made, so all the people who were/are involved can post what they have done, if anything. That way it will be a clear seperation from this progression thread and maybe enough people still have a map or two to contribute if it was still alive.
