Could I make a suggestion for a rule? Just for the sake of consistancy, should we limit authors to one or two completely new monsters (if any) and Nanami's Monster Wad?

Just a suggest, level designers make sure your maps have all the player starts, so us who like to play coop can. :-)

Maps with heavy scripting would likely have problems with Co-Op.

Not if a bunch of scripts make good use of:

Just when i thought CC3 was dead... Yes, of course.

A question though, are the mappers involved using any custom scenery?
Doom's original scenery objects dont seems to be quite enough.

Well aleast it can be look at as another way to see if atleast some people would like to see this project continue or not..with less chance of sarcasm I might add.( scroll up or check dumb milestone thread) Notice I didn't say it took the chance of sarcasm completely down to 0%. But its aleast somewhat better in a poll IMO.
