This thread is for requesting map slot(s). (DUH) Ha ha

I figured I get the ball rolling to see what maps are being worked on and who wants to make a map ect...There will be 35 maps in the project. I have a map already built from the unreleased PIR 2 project that Bill Parker (ParkerInfo) and myself never finished..So there is one..It's for map 25. I'm in the process of polshing it up and re-working some of it.

EDIT: It's now past 8-06-06. I WILL NOW START GIVEING OUT MAP SLOTS TO PEOPLE WHO HAVE ALREADY DONE A MAP. BUT IF SOMEONE WISHES TO DO A MAP WHO HAS NOT MADE ONE FOR THE PROJECT BEFORE CAN STILL MAKE ONE.

I'm in. i have a map in the works, however it is having texture related problems, which involves some textures to be off-set in strange ways. (any solutions will be greatly appretiated)

i am not very far into the map, only to the begining. not sure of how long of a map it is going to be, but i garuntee it is not going to be huge.

as of now i am calling it "Installation-07 Warszawa". it is basically a geosync military platform hovering above Warszawa, Poland.

I claim which-ever map will come last. not a secret level.

It turned into a ZDoom project huh? looks like I'm in then..but...what if you map in GZDoom format? would it still be accepted?

Yep..Zdoom from the start..(When Ling first started it). And as for your other question...As long as Zdoom and Gzdoom formats are compatable..meaning no errors and what not..then sure..Now as you can see I'm not to well versed in some of this Zdoom stuff. So anyone who can tell me the answer to that please do tell!!!

So KingofFlames..what map number do you want?

Maybe not, after all, this thread only started six days ago. i don't think anyone knows it exists, yet. this project has, indeed, been dead for some time now. it may take awhile to get people interested and for them to spread the word.

EDIT: BTW, problem with my map, my teleport stopped funtioning, everything is set correctly ( i know this for a fact because i have four other identical teleports in the same room and they work fine). i think it has to do with the sector. it seems to have split itself. in one corner is sector 80 in the exact opposite corner is sector 82. if someone has an answer, i'd greatly appretiate it, as i would like to finish this map ASAP so that it may be reviewed and prepared for its placement.

No the project is not dead. Its just gonna take awhile for things to happen..Now there is no realse date as of yet or milestones set. And tones of slots to be filled. Once things start picking up I will start setting a rough time frame.

As for my map. Its done. Just being tweaked abit.

So everyone stayed tuned..got a long road ahead of us..

Maybe you can renumber the sectors? I know i can do that in WadAuthor.

Ok..Im kinda getting this Anit-Zdoom vibe, from this thread and PM's I have sent out..Im gonna start a new Poll thread to vote this thing towards either Zdoom or Vinlla/Boom.

the construction of my map is complete. i just need to test it to see if everything works. i will then try to get it on here so that it can be tested by other people, so i know what needs work.

Well, I kinda have a half-done map from ther 1024 contest, which I didn't enter. I could finish that one for cc3. :)

Give me map02, the name is Blood Ocean (at least thats the work title). :)

Wait, give me map10 too. :)

Well its alittle early to give people two maps so pick one slot you would rather have more then the other. Then later on if there are slots still open then people can fill in empty ones even if they have already done a map.

EDIT: I'm also thinking of Map32 - I've got an idea for a map kinda like Cyberdreams except not as insanely difficult.

Since this is now a Boom project, I guess I'll be releasing my ZDoom map standalone.

I do want to sign up, but right now all my mapping energy is going into a personal project. If I do think of something that I want to do, but doesn't fit well with my project, I'll gladly do a map. Until then, I'll keep trying to think of something I would like to do.
