Hasn't been brought up. Should we be using a resource code to name custom textures like in 1monster wad? It would make building the final wad much easier to manage.

Mine begin with US

Sounds good. Each texture would begin with our names or the first letter of our names. It would be easy to keep track of.

like KTEX001 and so on.

Also, I know this is down the line, but we can also use this thread for custom graphics for the final wad, like a new title screen, m_doom graphic, and I would like a new interpic. Let's not forget the CC status bar and stat numbers!

Good idea but im not gonna use custom textures/flats, maybe compile an recource wad others might be interested to use some of the stuff as well.

Yeah, like take everyones custom textures and put it into a wad for the mappers to use. Not only would it help people map, but it also could prevent people using the same textures as others and wasting space.

I'm using all the UDoom texs in my wad. Same flat names and texs names as well.

I've imported several Ultimate Doom textures and flats, I'm assuming those names should be kept the same?

Also, is there a standard set of WFALL patches already being used? I want to be sure I'm using the right ones.

Yes making uniform WFALL is a good idea. If people can agree on using the same texture names from plutonia or doom.wad I suppose that's fine too.
