Crap! sorry guys, i didnt realize the third status check was the 1st. i did make some progress i'm up to probably 15-20%. it's been kind of slow work with college and all not to mention it is also going to be a rather large map.

Yeah, I'm kind of in the same boat, between school work and my severe case of mappers block it's a wonder I can get anything done.

Map 17 is up 45% now. But all of a sudden, I have hit mappers block again. Some ideas are slowly starting to come to me though.

I'm at about 20% now, reaching the milestone today of getting the Layout sorted out, so you can complete the map by going through all the empty rooms and pressing all the switches etc.

Next I'll work on Gameplay, what monsters to put where (already got a good idea of what will go into each room).

I was under the impression that this thread was meant for a quick summary update - mainly what percentage is done, and stuff like that - rather than lots of screenshots and details that might as well go in one's own map thread. Forgive me if I'm wrong but it does seem a tad extraneous.

That being said, and for those who may not bother checking each individual map thread, my status (map08) is about 60% done and moving very slowly. Of course mapper's block is to blame, but I feel I've come way too far to give up, so I'll just keep at it and hopefully have something worthy before the deadline.

Hey, I might as well say this here. Please remember to keep the first post in your thread updated with what you believe is the current progress of your map. It makes it tough to keep the status list of this thread updated when I can't find your status. =(
Even if you mention it here with your update, which is good, it would be helpful if it was somewhere easy to find in your threads as well.

I haven't done a whole lot with the map as of yet, just a few tweaks here and there. It remains at roughly 20%. I haven't been able to do a whole lot because of college and all. I'm also looking into getting a job soon.

I know this may be rather late, but if for some reason you have a free map slot in the future, can I be a reserve for taking it?

I quite enjoyed the simple mapping of the previous project, and would be glad to make another little map for this one. If I am signed up (to fill a gap or whatever) would I be correct in assuming we just make a map themed roughly like the Doom2 ones, and try to base difficulty on map positioning, like last time?

I'll not need custom resources or anything, but if there's a spcial resource set that I should be using, please point me towards it in the event that I am needed as a mapper.
