Yes, there's a binary lump called ANIMATED that is generated (along with the binary SWITCHES lump) from a text file by a command-line program called SWANTBLS.EXE (er. I think that's the name, at least). You can find the original text versions of cc4-tex's animated and switches lumps inside the wad, as I included them for the sake of ease of updating them. You can find SWANTBLS inside the Boom editing utilities package. (boomedit.zip or boomutil.zip or something like that I think?) I wish XWE and SLumpEd could just read and edit the binary lumps themselves without having to use an external utility to generate them, though...:\
