Though I'd like to request a map name change from 'Voodoo Veyor' to 'Dark Vile'. My earlier Boom scripting-abusing designs may probably have been a bit much for a community chest map. :P

This month I beta-tested Torn's map28.

Usually when I get a map I write a report which I send to the author and dump a copy in Herring's inboxes, but in this case Torn and I ended up going back and forth on IRC. After that, formally writing out everything Torn knew and had already fixed seemed like a waste of time, so I didn't bother.

However this means I don't have any evidence of work this month to show anybody, unless they have channel logs.

With the advent of Doombuilder 2, I have been toying around with many parts of map31, including the secret exit. While I havent really finalized anything, it will be worked on very soon. No progress i can show with screenshots though.

The next status check has been performed, and for the second time, I have been forced to drop someone from the project for inactivity. master lockwolf has been kicked out of CC4 for missing four status checks in a row, and has been notified of such via PM/e-mail.

Kid Airbag has also missed three status checks in succession, putting himself in danger of expulsion, and has also been notified about it via PM/e-mail.

stewboy, Dr. Kelexo, Searcher have missed two in a row, and have been notified about it the same way.

A few others have missed only one. Check the list and let us know about your status!

I should also remind you all that the deadline is at the end of this month! June 30 is rapidly approaching; on that day, I will check the status of the project and make a decision accordingly. Be aware of the deadline, and good luck!

I'm really terrible at this sort of thing. (being organised, I mean.)
I haven't touched on my map in ages. I keep waking up in the morning thinking 'This afternoon I'll work on the map' then forgetting about it.
I'll try and work on it now, and send it to the testers.

Sorry, been meaning to update... I just have been working on several other things at the moment, but I have been spending an hour or so 3-4 days a week on my map.

I plan on posting a screen shot or two (no more though, don't want to show the whole map beforehand :p) before the end of the month, but I'm going to go ahead any make a status report anyway, in case I don't get to do that this month for some reason or another.

And my status report is: I'm still working on my map. :p

Yes, I know that the end of this month is the deadline, but looking around at the current state of the project, I have a good feeling it won't stay the deadline for long. Even if it does for some reason, I can just cut the end battle section off of my map, polish it up and call it a day. I hope I don't have to do that, though. :(

Ok, I have been having some problems with the map. I recently had to revert to an older version of the map shortly after completing the final room due to an error on my part while formatting my computer, since then it's been really hard to motivate myself to finish the map. I did finish the overall construction of the map except for some of the scenery "outside" the map. The only thing it really needs is the monsters, but because of my current schedule with college, I cannot continue working on my map.

I will definitely not be playtest ready tomorrow. I have a midterm tomorrow (yes, school, in the summer). I can try to have the map finished, but my damn computer has the habit of freezing when I edit, and has a problem starting back up again. It crashes once or twice and freezes once or twice and goes through startup repair normally after that to turn back on after each freeze. I've had my computer freeze within 10 minutes of editing a few times, then go through that annoying process again. It's very frustrating.

As the June 30, 2009 deadline will likely not be met, I have decided to extend the deadline for map submission for a second time.

It is now December 31, 2009.

In addition, the status check rules have been relaxed for this one occasion, so that people who have been unable to work on their level due to real-life circumstances (such as college-related stuff) can catch up. However, a status check will still take place on August 1, 2009.

Mek's still got my map. I expect that whatever he's doing for Vega is taking priority at the moment, but we should definitely have something worth showing before the new deadline. ;)
