Who's ready? I'm not. I might make it but it's not looking too good. A minor extension is always plausible. NDCP2 took forever so we've got some windfall.

I might be able to make the deadline but an extension may be nice although that might encourage some procrastination which I'm trying hard not to do.

You may be able to get moving within the very last days and do something playable. It's better to be glorious than a quitter. It's the fear of shame that gets you moving when there's little time.

Hey, I have been making some great progress on my map lately, which has made me realize there is pretty much no REASONABLE way, especially considering how busy I am this summer, that I'm going to have my map absolutely completed by the 30th. If the deadline is set in stone the 30th, I'll try to be flexible. Just letting you all know.

I think an extension would be good. Haven't really touched the map for awhile, but today, I decided to open it up again and I am actually making quite a lot of progress. I would be able to do more work on it during the summer rather than now (exams and such coming up).

Lets keep working as if the deadline is coming up. Toward the end of the month TGH or I may start a new check-in thread to discuss the extension and how long it should be. But yeah, lets try and get as much done as possible. Announcing an extension now may put people (me) into slacker mode again.

Real deadlines shouldn't be so plastic, but you can't really "punish" people for not meeting them here if you want finished maps. Bit of a conundrum I say. :P


Completion is entirely dependent upon voluntary willpower. I think a strong reward for exhibiting that would work better than any deadline.

Progress here on map 18 is ~50%. I'll do my best to release the map before the deadline ( and post a topic for it once it's done ).

At the latest, I'll either have a playtest-ready map by July 3rd. Probably sooner than that, with a small chance I'll even make June 30th.

Is there a compiled list anywhere of maps that are finished and the current status of unfinished maps? It might be a good idea. Would let everyone know 'at a glance' where things are up to. Maybe add map status to the map list in the first post of the sign-up thread?

Progress here is around 95% and I should have my map ready for playtesting soon. I'm playing my music live at a big electronic music festival next weekend which has taken my time off doom. But I'll definitely have my map done in the next days, or at least after the festival which is on July 6th. :)
