Its coming along pretty good. Basically (the story I made up for it, haha) UAC was storing the toxins and teleporting them to the other bases and labs during the invasion. The scientists attempted freezing the toxins using high doses of nitrogen through pipes in the tunnels.
However the fusion of the elements began radiating the base, causing a nuclear ice age which went through the parts of hell and froze them over as well all surrounding bodies of water near the containment and labs.

Here are some screen shots

Looks like this might end up pretty kewl, but the gray section looks ugly IMO.
Be sure to make some slippery floors, which can only really be used well in snow maps. Seems like the music from TNT MAP20 will fit really well.

Draw a linedef over a hundred units in length and put action 223 on it and give it tag. Give all the sectors that you want the effect on to have the same tag, and make sure that they're tagged so that friction is enabled. The longer the linedef, the more slippery the floor.

It's a good idea to backup your stuff just in case something like that happens. You can buy an external hard drive or flash drive to put your data on. You can also email levels to yourself, which I do.

Anyways, it's sad to see that the level is lost. Hopefully you didn't spend that much time on it.

ty m8.

It deffinately sucks. I was working hard on it, and made alot of added bits IE icy caves in first part of hell.

I was working hard on it, but apperently lulz are more immportant.

ill just be starting from scratch I guess. It isn't that bad of a sitchuation. Its depressing though, because aside from this I have lost alot of unreplacable stuff, recent videos i made, maps, my first ever maps.

God, why do people do this...

no idea. It was on two of my PC's

well one was more for my dad.

The one im on now is the one that got lucky. Despite the memory was whiped out of it (damned YooY viruse) it still works.

The other one, which again idk what happened, was the one with this map on it and other stuff. It was destroyed and rendered entirely useless. Everything was killed by the virus.

It first started off as a "system 32 corrupt" message and failure to boot, but it got so much worse.
