Yeah, I know, a name change already. That's only because I immediately realized that "Eve Of Destruction" wasn't going to fit this theme at all, heh. The idea is basically a fast-paced, nonlinear blast in and out of a UAC base. How original.

Just spent a quick 15 minutes on this area.

Anywho, no telling what the stats are. I'll put it at 5.3% complete, because it's sillier that way.

Here's a WIP shot of the indoors. I have the map's skeleton in place, but I still haven't decided on what key will go where. etc. Looks like green, gray, and blue will dominate the theme here.

I love it! I like the outside of it too. it all looks nice, and it isn't overly complicated looking.

I get the feeling that the detail on this one is going to be fairly low outdoors. With the maps frantic pace, it shouldn't bother people too much I hope :)

I know what you mean, actually. It's something I've been trying to work around. It kind of comes with the the package when I create these sort of arena-esque maps. On the other hand, the player will be running along those dividing walls at various points, so I can assure you, if you want to attack monsters from above or below, the opportunity will present itself :)

I like how you have color coordinated things. Blue sky, blue lights, blue computer insets.

So, instead of mapping a lot this weekend like I would have preferred, I wound up taking care of a family member who went through some minor surgery.... Plus I've had a lot of good ideas, but they all seem to work on maps that aren't this one.

I'm going to try my very best to get this done in the next three days, but I fear the product will be a little slapdash or haphazard as a result.
