Despite polls have such a bad reputation over the General Forum, I'm posting this one to hopefully :

1) Increase the amount of posters in this forum to the outstanding amount of -3.41

2) Draw some conclusions from the result (go figure).

3) Raise my postcount.

Anyway, here are the questions :


1. Are you planning to at least try out New DooM's modding/editing?

A) Huh? There's a New DooM?
B) I might do that if I find a FUCKING TUTORIAL THAT WORKS!!
C) Of course.
D) I already have a team assembled.
E) [GOD]-I shall forge thy greatest mod ever-[/GOD]

2. Do you edit for the old DooMs?

A) Huh? Isn't this the Starbuck's forum?
B) I once made a little square sector 128 high.
C) I made some functional, personal stuff.
D) I have succesfully finished a non-sucky addon.
E) [GOD]-My Legacy will last for Eternity-[/GOD]

3. What other engines did you modded for?

A) BUILD
B) QUAKE
C) UNREAL
D) LITHTECH
E) House-created engine
F) Other (specify)
G) I once drew a dog on MsPaint

4. Editing wise, are you switching between DooM and New DooM?

A) I will never stop working with old DooMs
B) I will keep toying with it. An occasional level will be done.
C) DooM 3 stuff is the only one I'll make public.
D) [GOD]-I haveth sold my soul to thee, DooM III-[/GOD]
E) I'm just a fucking loser choosing a random letter for this one.


OK, that's it. This was mainly deviced as a way to gather some answers about the changes in the community we'll see in some months. Those that are registered but never post would do much good if they at least posted an answer to this. Stupid comments will be deleted, unless they're too funny.

1.) Uh, B & C. I will at least make small mods that change damage numbers etc. If i can make actual new stuff, ill start porting my deathtc mod into it.

2.) C & A

3.) F, ive created ideas for other games, esp. stuff like possible ddf layouts for edge (ways it could be improved/expanded). Also made ideas for rules.inin -type stuff for C&C clone games which never got made.
