KwanTai Posted August 15, 2004 Ok, this is a very strange problem. I decided to uninstall the game but I didn't have any Doom3 under the Add/Remove Programs, so I just deleted the folder that contained the game. Now when I try to install the game I get this message: Another version of this product is already installed. Installation of this version cannot continue, to configure or remove the existing version of this product, use Add/Remove Programs on the control panel. I:/Doom3.msi And then I'm forced to close that window and the installation does not continue. I've tried a number of different things to clear the registry, all items that are linked to doom (or doom3, doom 3, id software) are deleted from the registry. I've also tried to use the uninstall option from the game cd's menu, that don't work either. There was some error message after the first installation of the game, but I just flashed real quickly so I couldn’t read what it was...I must have something to do with this !?
