Question.

I know i should be posting it in a differnt topic already made for this, but no one has seemed to asnwer it yet!

I'm planning on getting a Dell Inspiron 9100 with these specs:

Intel® Pentium® 4 Processor 3GHz with HT Tech, 15.4-in WXGA
1GB DDR 400MHz 2 DIMMs
128MB DDR ATI's MOBILITY™ RADEON™ 9700 AGP 8X Graphics
40GB Hard Drive

Will this be able to sufficiantly run Doom 3??? would i have any problems with the laptop heating up, and are there any drivers i would need to download? I'm new to this whole computer tech thing, sorry if i posted quetsions already answered.

I dont know what kind of heat issues you will experience, but the specs exceed the minimum system requirements. So, heat issues aside, you should be able to run the game.

ok good. I've read some of the posts on Laptops running Doom 3 and have heard bad stuff. I have heard good stuff about it too, i just want to make sure I will be able to play this game I've been waiting for since i first got into doom when i was 9 or 10, about 7 years ago.
