Super Bright Doom editor

I opened doom 3 editor and its SUPER bright, i put the screen brightness to 0 and still anything white seems like its coming from some UFO space ship. Whys it doing this?

The editor uses the same brightness settings as the game itself. If you lower the brightness in the game menu, the editor will become less bright as well.

Best thing is to start the editor from it´s own shortcut, then you can put for example +set r_gamma 1 +set r_brightness 1 into the command line.
