I bought doom 3 and installed it on my computer and then accidently broke the disc. I have all the files on my computer and I can play doom 3 but I wanted to know if I installed resurrection of evil if it will work

Yes, it wont ask you for the original doom3 disc during installation. In fact I just tested now with a copy of doom3 patched to version 1.3
