dq333 Registered Lurker Posts: 0 Registered: 12-09 Hello Doomers........, I wanted to know if my cached demo1 results were decent according to my (aging) hardware: XP PRO P4 3GHZ CRUCIAL 2GB RAM 137 GB HDD Sapphire HD 3650 512MB DDR2 Doom chooses Ultra settings; I get an average of 31FPS on the demo, however, it slows down to **** at some points (18 FPS). I've read Doom 3 is not fond of ATI but is there a recommended .cfg file I can use? Ultra Quality should be fitting to your video card's strengths at this point, but depending on how high a screen res you have, it might be a little too much for your setup.
