We are waiting almost 2 years now, we know something about the new engine,about doom 3, not mutch or noting :-(
what are they doing over there. Oké, I want to wait, becouse of my respect to them and give them time to make something great !
but I hope they give the fans something. a in game shot would be nice.
Or an article / interview with all the members of Id-Software with as subject Doom 3.
but he, i hope they make great stuff.

Fast action. Cool graphics(that's not going to be a problem)
Big indoor arena's like Doom 2 , Ohhh yeaaa
A really nice shotgun :-)
cool missions, and yea one find the key level :-)
A Doom atmosfeer like there is in doom 1 & 2

and what are you guy's gonna do while we all wait on doom 3

I'm gonna play RTCW, mohaa isn't something for my.
Of course Quake 3, ut, unreal 2 en UT2 looks great.
SOF 2. And ofcourse Playing Doom 1,2 With the Zdoom port:-)

Well, about sys req.. I've questioned nVidia about their GeFrce III and:

And.. I guess if GeForce III want's P4-1GHz or Athlon 800 then there's no way that DOOM III is going to need 700 MHz CPU :/

Well, maybe it's because they're busy working on "Doom 3". And we wouldn't want to disturb them with the kind of interviews which have been done about a hundred times already, now would we?
