Pic 2 is a bit superflous to establish a connection (1 and 3 give a good base), but 4 definitely looks similar.

I believe that face on it's hat extends out on a tantacle and the female asian face gets real ugly looking in the process. and that's when it looks like the lost soul from D3.

we know that Kennith Scott is a fan of aname, and there's a japanese influence on the tantacle commando.

Yeah anyway. That fourth one definitely looks like a lost soul. Not sure why you included the other pics since they don't resemble it at all. Maybe just one so we know what it actually looks like normally.
