Do you need the full version of Doom 3 to start modding/making maps, or will the demo work?

You probably need the full version; I believe it's against the End User License Agreement to make mods work with the demo release.

Not that anybody ever really cares what the End User Licence Agreement says anyways...

It was the same for the orgignal Doom Sharwares. But like I just said...

I don't. These maps will probably never be seen by anyone besides me- I'm planning on buying the full version anyways I just want to start learning how to use the editor now instead of waiting.

I just want to know if the demo includes DoomEdit, and/or if DoomEdit will work with the demo version.
