whats happening recently

I havent been around for about half a year; can you tell me, what has been happening, are there movies available except the mac tokio thing? wasnt the game supposed to be out this summer? is it going to be later?

I'm guessing LATE 2002, at the earliest. However, Doom 3 IS quite an undertaking, even for Id, so I wouldn't really expect to see it until sometime 2003...

No new movies or official screenshots. There are some semi-illegal screenshots that were taken at QuakeCon. If you haven't seen those, click that link in my sig, then go to Articles -> QuakeCon 2001.

The game won't be released anytime soon, though we're all hoping and praying id will release some new info quite soon.
