I emailed Jim Dosé (id Software) and aksed him stuff and also asked him if ID would release screenshots of doom:

"At this point, I don't know when we will be releasing any new shots or info. There aren't plans for any at least in the short term."

That just sucks :(

That's how I like it. Seriously, no pics.

This is the first media blackout that works well, since no one's really worried/anxious about DOOM except us. Let them work for the gaming community, not for the 5, 6 guys lurking this forum.

I remember seeing a couple of pics from Blade of Darkness when they *JUST* started the game. It looked like Quake 1, with purple skies, and futuristic stuff. :)

Then, nothing for a couple of years and then...WHOA! Melee combat with dynamic lighting!
