This forum is meant for help, suggestions and bugs reports related to the Doom Builder map editor. Before you use this forum, please make sure you have read the Doom Builder manual and FAQ and tried the options given to you. Also, please read the following guidelines and keep them in mind before you throw your post in here.
Posting for Help
In this forum you can ask for our help related to Doom Builder's specific features or maybe even the sourcecode, but this forum is not meant to teach you how to make a map. There are many tutorials out there that can tell you how to do all that. The Doom Builder manual is a good start and there are links in the FAQ as well. For any other help with editing you can use the Editing forum here at Doomworld.
Posting Bug Reports
Doom Builder 1.* is no longer in development. Doom Builder 2 is in development, but has no official releases yet. There is nothing to report.
Posting Suggestions
No I won't add Winamp or MS Word in Doom Builder, now go away... Seriously though, when you want to make a suggestion, first think about it to see if it is really a reasonable suggestion. If you think it is, then please provide good reason why it should be in Doom Builder and provide enough information on how you think it should work. Please note that this is a map editor and is not meant to edit every possible resource in the WAD files.
On top of all of the above we handle common sense and the Doomworld terms of use. And I will not tolerate the bashing of anyone or anyone's product, being it a map editor or anything else. Thank you for your understanding, I hope we can be of service to you.
