Not sure if this was done for a reason, or just overlooked...
Whenever you assign a thing a thing tag, and then attempt to copy/cut it to someplace else, the tag is dumped. Very inconvient at times, at least for my purposes.

Could we see this fixed in DB3?

Indeed, my bad.

I never knew about that setting... Interesting.
I looked for it too; my revised suggestion, make it checked by default.
