Hi just a quick question i have a wad that wont open correctly it just crams all the map into a big triangle

Any suggestions other wads work fine just not this one trying to see how some of the parts of the level were built so i dont need to ask 50k other questions.

You're opening a Hexen-format WAD (such as a ZDoom WAD) in Doom format.

Yeah, that's the most likely case. If the map has a BEHAVIOR lump, it's in Hexen format. The THINGS and LINEDEFS lumps have different sized structures, and since there are no headers in these things, just raw data, the engine has no way of knowing where a record starts and where it stops other than from the size it is supposed to have.

There is some technical information here if you're curious.
