i was working on my wad and i added 2 player 1 start positions by accedentnow the interesting part is that zdoom spawns 2 player 1's

one of them is you and the other just stands there but if you kill it, you die 2 :/

thought this might be usfull for traps or something

Yeah old, usefull for triggering multiple events (placed on a conveyor) and instant death actions (teleport into extra player start)

Some people have referred to this second player one start as a "voodoo doll".

Yep, it is an old trick, one which I use quite a bit. In fact, if you've played my Heretic episode you'll see the manikins in every level, and even some puzzles involving them!

(they work in vanilla, Boom and ZDoom but not Legacy or jDoom)
