Doomhead87 Posted December 7, 2002 So far, none of the graphics editing programs I've tried have worked. Duetex did'nt do anything, and I recieved some error file about a missing .DLL file or something when I tried running Wintex. Please, someone tell me about a good graphics editing program, or tell me how I can get one of the programs I listed to work. P.S:Another question. What is the best freeware Doom editor?(Preferably, a windows editor if possible. DOS ones only screw up w/me, or they are'nt as good as windows editors) 0 Share this post Link to post
boris Posted December 7, 2002 You need VBRun300.dll for WinTex. You also might want to try DeepSea or XWE. 0 Share this post Link to post

kristus Posted December 7, 2002 NWT sucks.. Wintex 3.7 is nice though.. I've used that for all regular doom wad editing. XWE I haven't really tried, but I'm sure it's capable of doing everything you'd wanna do. 0 Share this post Link to post

m0l0t0v Posted December 18, 2002 NWT does not suck: it`s easy to use and does everything you want it to do... well except my homework, and the dishes, and... 0 Share this post Link to post
The Ultimate DooMer Posted December 18, 2002 NWT isn't that bad. I used to use it for patch lists and textures, until I discovered how to do it in Wintex... Nowadays I use Wintex and DeePsea (although I'm beginning to prefer DeePsea for textures, as it's easier than Wintex and allows ZDoom stuff) 0 Share this post Link to post
