Dynamic Lighting

I've been hearing a lot about this lately... what exactly is it? And, it's not available in ZDoom is it? Only Legacy? Thanks to whoever bothers to answer.

If I'm correct, it is the ability to make lights that act like they would in really life. You don't set the sector's lighting. The game casts light wherever light would reach.(as long as you have a light souce)
