Can I tag a door in order to open when shot by a specified weapon?

AFAIK, not with a specific weapon. In standard Doom/Boom you can however use an effect marked with G1 or GR and it will act upon bullets that hit that line, but bullets only and bullets from any weapon.

But with scripting it might be possible, dont ask me how tho ;) Scripting however makes it a very engine-specific map.

I'm sure you meant shotgun blasts as well. Also, however, such linedef specials work when hit by the fist and the chainsaw.

And in ZDoom (possibly other ports), projectiles can also activate G1/GR switches.
