Wintex question.

Recommended Posts

Hello all.

Just got wintex, and it looks great!

Just one problem, I can't edit graphics!

I get a error message to the effect that it cannot use pbrush. I am using xp, so it may be because in xp it is just called Paint. Is there a way I can point Wintex to the program I want to use?

Help!

You should be able to do it by opening up wintex.ini and making the changes there.

Actually, in all versions of Windows, from 3.11 to XP - it's still called "PBRUSH.EXE". Just like WordPad is still called "WRITE.EXE" (although WordPad works too). Probably exactly for the sake of backwards compatibility.
