No sky maps are easy! Just don't use it. If you want the feeling to be underground, then BE underground when you make the map and don't use the F_SKY1!
Take a look at Deus Vult. I want to map underground that looks as hellish as that!
If you just can't get over how awesomely cool the floating sky looks in a map, then make your own sky.
