I believe with Legacy you can embed Dehacked files in your WAD. Anyone know how you do this?
Is it just a case of inserting the file as a lump?

Yes, you just insert it as a lump with the name DEHACKED.

Call you Dehacked file "DEHACKED.DEH"
Load you wad into XWE program.
Chose "Entry" the "Load" and pick the "DEHACKED.DEH" and it should be inserted as a DEHACKED lump.
Seems to work for me with latest Legacy.

Aghh just figured this out, so I save from XWE to a lump file, then attatch that to the wad in DeePsea. Awsome.

I've been doing this for a while with Wintex. You select lumps, load the patch as a lump with the name DEMO1 so you can load it, then rename it to DEHACKED and there ya go. You can do the same with .bex files. Yep, I'm special.

Well, there's a quicker method if you are using DeePsea. You can directly edit, export and save any text lump to and from your level in DeePsea. Primarily useful for EDGE stuff, but any name is ok, such as DEHACKED:)

Press F7 and use the "Any Lump Names" buttons. Edit, Export and Save.
