Maybe some of you can use these recolored interpic textures. There are 12 recolored textures in the zip file, here are some examples.

The white one is inspired by the one found in Jaguar Doom.

Texture set I'm working on. Decayed industrial stuff.

I like those in the middle very much!

these later ones come off as "Hey this is what I'm doing" rather than contributions. I have all the early ones (the ones in the OP) I can put into a zip.

Here's a bunch of old stuff I've done over the months and years. Someone might find some of them useful.

Edit: Crap. I forgot I saved them all as jpg. I'll have to reupload them as png later.

I have a quick question: what texture are those starbrown textures based off of? They look too sharp or something to be based off of the STARTAN. Is it an Alpha Doom STARTAN? I've looked and looked but can't find it.

I probably shouldn't be speaking on 40oz's behalf, but I think they're just based on brown96 and browngrn.

Really? Was it just the way the two textures were blended together? The curves and indents of the STARBRWN texture look...I dunno, sharper or something. I thought maybe it was made with a different version of STARTAN floating around somewhere or was edited to look like that. Either way, I like it and I'm hoping there is a base texture out there somewhere.

It's the ZZZFACE textures. they got a lot of miscellaneous junk littered around the outside that I took advantage of.

I just made it side by side with a STARTAN texture so it has the same shape.

These are nice. There are many marble face textures floating around which stand out as being stuck-together, but these blend and complement the originals really well.

Doom's palette isn't really conducive to gold textures. A quick attempt resulted in this:

http://www.teamhellspawn.com/gold.png

It's not that good, really. You may need a custom palette to come up with something better.

Now that was quick - seems that the palette always breaks between a copper or gold based look...
...a golden support would look ace with the blue wolfenstein wall texture - add to that some candelabrae and you got a nice Hermann Göring mansion...

Thx for your effort

Here's one I did by palette-mapping in XWE - based on the CBRAA0 sprite. I'll have to learn to work faster.

Yeah, better use a PNG graphics in an unpaletted engine like GZDoom. The silver original does not show those sharp ˄ and ˅ lines that the golden recolors have.

Didn't Nick baker make a huge bunch of gold recolors? Check /graphics or Afterglow's page.

They should be in Nick Baker's Recolored Texture Pack. It's organized by color, so navigation through the files should be simple enough.

Also if you're looking for brick textures, he posted a bunch of variations over at the ZDoom forums.
