I tried changing the medic pack sprite and when I try to get it, I can't and it looks like some weird warning sigh you'd see on the street. It has a yellow ! on it and a red diamondish background. Can someone help me with this?

Let me guess: what you're seeing is the famous ZDoom error sign.

Yeeees. I sound a noob now, don't I? I guess I am. My first time hacking Doom. I'm good at hacking other games though.

The size would not affect it - that sign usually indicates a bad or missing sprite, so you might want to make sure your replacement sprite is in a format that ZDoom recognizes.

Also, check the console - that'll help a lot in tracking down the source of your error.

Place your sprite between S_START and S_END markers using XWE.
